Purchasing Supervisor
Job Description
We need an experienced purchasing specialist with strong multi-tasking ability. This role requires constant attention to detail and an eye for quality. Responsibilities include overseeing the purchasing process, and ensuring that all purchases adhere to established policies and procedures. Must have the flexibility to work overtime and some weekends when needed.
Essential Duties Include:· Purchase/maintain stock levels and inventory management for the facility· Monitor/maintain budget by departments· Process and approve Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, and/or invoices (prepare paperwork for corporate A/P)· Suppliers and Suppliers of Service approval and maintain appropriate documentation (including COIs)· Maintain appropriate documentation for Food-Safety purchases according to standards and regulations
Requirements:· High school diploma· Purchasing experience is a must; maintenance purchasing is a plus· Excellent oral and written communication skills· Excellent math and reading skills· Operate manual hand-jack/forklift·
