About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on leader to guide our 2nd Shift Sewing Department. If you enjoy leading a team, staying organized, and making sure high-quality products go out the door every day, this could be a great fit.
As Team Lead, you’ll oversee daily production, support your team on the floor, and ensure our quality standards are met. This is a working leadership role — you’ll coach, assist, and step in wherever needed.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and assign daily work based on production needs
- Monitor quality and address any issues quickly
- Support and coach sewing team members to improve skills and consistency
- Partner with the Operations Manager to meet production goals
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment
- Ensure company policies and processes are followed
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills and team-first mindset
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced production setting
- Willingness to work overtime or occasional Saturdays when needed
- Sewing machine experience (a plus)
- Experience with manufacturing systems (ERP, routings, BOMs) preferred
- Comfortable using computers
- Ability to distinguish colors, fabrics, and patterns
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking, reaching, and hands-on work
- Occasional lifting (up to 10 lbs)
- Ability to distinguish colors and fine details
- Moderate noise environment
