Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Line Lead is responsible for leading the effective operation of a production line, including safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency goals of the production line.

- Reporting of start up, equipment, and staffing issues to the Supervisor.
- Organize and lead the team to achieve the production schedule.
- Ensure the line is properly prepared for changeovers.
- Review scrap and the products requiring re-work.
- Ensure production data is properly collected and maintained.
- Work with maintenance to ensure preventive maintenance is performed in a timely manner on the line’s production equipment.
- Ensure new employees are trained and that existing employees are properly cross-trained in multiple areas.
- A basic understanding of the operations involved in manufacturing the products.
