Our client in Bridgewater, MA is seeking an experienced Machine Operator for 3rd Shift!
Job Summary:Training for Lead Pouch Machine Operator will be expected to train on 1st shift, show up on time, willing to learn and take instructions from leads. You will be expected to give direction and monitor pouch making operators. You will need to make adjustments to your machine to ensure product quality. You will need to perform all quality testing for the pouch making process, comply with the manufacturing schedule while maintaining a safe and orderly workplace. You will need to effectively communicate with your team as well as the other shifts.

They offer premade spouted pouches on rails - or the individual pouch, spout and cap components separately for various filling systems - to provide an innovative, more sustainable and highly-functional package designed to meet the industry’s strictest safety standards. Their spouted or flat pouches, recloseable, tamper-evident caps and easy-flow spouts are available in a wide variety of colors, shapes, sizes and materials, which are ideal for liquid and viscous food and non-food product categories including baby food, applesauce, dairy, ice cream, sauces, nut butters, toppings and haircare for hot fill, retort, cold / ambient fill, and high-pressure processing application.

Qualifications required:
- Attention to detail
- Quality oriented
- Minimum of 2 years of machine operations
- Organized and thorough
- Willing and eager to learn
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to be a team player
- Some computer skills helpful
- Must have some mechanical aptitude
- Previous experience running and setting production machinery
- Operate pouch making machine
- Assists Sr. Leads with all set up activities
- Perform minor adjustments to machinery to insure product quality
- Work closely with Pouch Making Testers to insure product quality
- Participates in various continuous improvement activities
- Assists on product changeovers and cover for breaks and lunches as needed
- Be part of corrective action teams as needed
- Report any potential food safety, legality, quality, or food defense concerns to the plant manager or quality personnel
- Follow all documented Good Manufacturing Practices
