Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant/Ophthalmological Assistant to join our specialty eye care team. This position supports a respected Cataract and Glaucoma specialist who sees patients with a medical diagnosis—no routine eye exams, glasses fittings, or pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in providing care to 40-50 patients daily, alongside the doctor and a team of three assistants.
  • Support in managing patients with Glaucoma, Cataracts, and other medical eye conditions.
  • Work at the Hyannis office with occasional shifts at the Falmouth location.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure a high-quality, patient-focused environment.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Preferably one year of experience (not required).
  • No special certifications necessary—just a passion for quality patient care.
  • A professional and adaptable individual who can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Location: Hyannis (primary office) with one to two days a week in Falmouth (behind Falmouth Hospital)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM - 4:00 PM (end time may vary based on patient volume)
Compensation: $23 - $25/hour, based on experience
