Our Client in Assonet, MA is seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift Residential Aides to join their team and provide compassionate care to individuals in a residential setting that have intellectual and developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, working with adults with developmental disabilities and be able to work the listed scheduling.
****Candidate Must be able to complete a 1 week orientation on 1st shift Monday- Friday and last day being the following Monday 8AM-4:30 PM.****
Responsibilities:
Assist residents and transport to medical, dental, and psychiatric appointments via agency vehicle
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Assist with activities for residents with cognitive impairments
Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of residents
Teach and Support individuals in daily living skills such as personal care and hygiene, care of personal space and belongings, safety, transporting clients to appointments, cooking etc.
Help residents with ADL's bathing, dressing etc.
Qualifications:
MUST Pass Background checks! level II Cori Check
Pass RMV Check (no more than 3 infractions on the driving record within the past 5 years)
Must have Valid Drivers License
High School Diploma/ GED
Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferably in a group home setting
Pay:
$18.50-$25/ hr (pay range is based on the number of years of relative experience and hold certifications if any; CNA, college degree or MAP certifications)
Shift:
2nd (2:30 PM-11PM) Double on Weekend Day
3rd (11 PM-9:30 AM)
Scheduling:
Wednesday-Saturday (2nd Shift is always a double on Saturday or Sunday!)
Sunday-Wednesday
